Fall 2017 POL Training sessions

Come join Principles of Liberty our FREE training classes. Find out how your state government works and learn how you can hold your representatives accountable!

Each year in the fall we provide training sessions around the state to provide you with the tools you need to analyze legislation, develop your own principles of government, and voice your opinion to our elected officials. We hope that you will join us this year as we discuss the role of government, and how principles and policy intersect in the Wyoming state legislature.

Starting in January, we will be busy at work rating state bills and legislators according to the strict standards of our eight Core Principles. Our Core Principles are derived from the principles of good governance upon which our nation was founded, and we meticulously apply these principles to the bills proposed in our state capitol during the legislative session each year. You can find these principles at www.principlesofliberty.org/Core-Principles. At the end of the legislative session, we tabulate every vote by each legislator on the bills we have rated. This allows you to review the record of every single legislator to see where they stand on each of our principles. Since we rate each bill according to a set of clearly defined principles, we provide an easy to understand and objective analysis that doesn’t depend on party. Talk is cheap – what matters is how legislators vote!

We’re excited to provide you with these free tools, and we hope to see you soon.
